The Story - A fashion habitat...

Hannah Russell outdoors, a brand inspired for those who enjoy living for the countryside and wildlife that accompanies it. Founded in 2022 from Hannah's studio in North Yorkshire, the brand incorporates the Yorkshire palette with colours such as 'Moorland Heather' and 'yorkshire Dales green.'

Hannah has encapsulated the beautiful shades of the country she grew up in and given them a fashion, art and design form.

Walking hand-in-hand with Hannah's love for nature and entrepreneurial flair, Since the age of seventeen, Hannah has always held a keen eye for original ventures and distinct ideas. From the creation of her books 'Hannah, Little Alf & Friends' to organising charity events and campaigns, the last 10 years has seen Hannah flourish in the sector of design, producing printed graphics on products and garments for her contrasting businesses.

The inspiration came from Hannah qualifying as an interior design and combining her love for the outdoors together, within her interiors she often drafted pheasants, stags, hares and wildlife and embedded these on to fabrics and wallpapers for country cottages, especially in the Yorkshire area.

This inspired Hannah to start developing a brand inspired by the appeal of the landscape and the colours that Yorkshire exhibits.

In 2023/2024 Hannah began adding handmade Jewellery pieces to the collection, these are one of pieces working with Moorland heather, gold, silver and creating bespoke designs for customers.

A lot of Hannah's inspiration comes from her hobbies, when she isn't designing you'll find her fly fishing, working her dogs, shooting or enjoying her animals at her home.
